First opened in 1970 as a trailer park, it converted to a Mobile Home Park in 1982. In 1998, 4th Street was developed on vacant land (purchased in the 1970's) adjoining the park which brought the total number of park spaces to 101.
The Park has always been more of a community than a business and has always been managed by on-site residents. Many of the residents are long-term (several over 30 years).
The Park has been owned by the same family since its opening. Mrs. Smith, the founder, always treated the residents as her dear friends; hence, her feeling about her business and the park...."A Place for Her Friends".
This clean and well-maintained park is open April 1st through October 31st.
The Park is located in the beautiful Pinetop-Lakeside area of the White Mountains. Friendly seniors enjoy the cool mountain climate, onsite clubhouse, resident organized activities, nearby lakes, parks, trails, golfing and numerous antique shops in the area.
